I am inspired by the Maine oceanfront
I am inspired by the Maine oceanfront. As a writer, I am thoroughly and hopelessly in love with Maine, especially its coastal regions. I spend my winters in the city longing for the gentle ocean breezes that blow in across Glen Cove. Each year, in early summer, I pack my bags and look for lodging in Maine near the charming town of Rockport. The past few visits I have stayed at a charming little motel property called the Ledges By The Bay in Glen Cove. I sit on my own private balcony and soak up the clean, salty air and the sparkling, dancing water that laps the shorefront. Sometimes I wander on down to stroll along at the very water’s edge, and sometimes I take a chair to sit and watch the children cavort in the sloping green lawns. Then I eventually wander back to my room, sit at my laptop, and write what I have seen for those who cannot be here.
