What happened with these loans is they were bundled into these security investment packages and sold to offshore investors who were trying to make a substantial amount of money. Well for them things turned out horribly and they are all failing and losing their shirts. To many debt settlement companies have been investigated. The greed of these already unnaturally wealthy folks had gotten the best of them. Thus they will suffer the bad consequences.
