When a kid turns seventeen, suddenly he or she has some decisions to make. One of them is whether to go to college or to just get a job after high school. The reason that they have to make that decision soon is because they have to apply early to get into college so they must make up their minds in time. Some students also just choose to get jobs for seventeen year olds and then hope that they turn into real full time jobs later on when they graduate high school. But either way, the decision has to be made early so that they can get accepted to colleges and universities if they want to go that route.
